How is the Committee established?

The Committee is made up of parent volunteers.

All Committee positions become vacant at the Annual General Meeting of the Association held in November.

Nominations for the following year are put forward and elections for the following year take place at the same Annual General Meeting.

What does the Committee do?

The Committee is responsible for management of the centre and employment of staff.  They ensure that systems and practices are in place for the centre to operate both functionally and financially.  The Committee appoints and supports staff, develops and monitors budgets, promotes the centre, develops policies and establishes a process for parents to have input into the centre.  The Committee keeps up to date with current legislation and changes in the industry, and maintain records.
